Equipment composition and description

1) Compressed air purification module

It is composed of high efficiency oil remover, freeze dryer, precision filter and activated carbon filter.

After passing through the air compressor, the air first enters the air buffer tank for buffering, then enters the high-efficiency oil remover to remove most of the impurities such as oil, water and dust, and then goes through the freezing-type dryer for further removing water, oil and dust through the precision filter, and finally enters the activated carbon filter for further removing oil.

Our specially designed activated carbon filter can be used to prevent the possible trace oil penetration to ensure the effective protection of the carbon molecular sieve and extend its service life.

The compressed air treated by this purification part can be used for instrument air.

2) Air buffer tank

It is composed of air buffer tank and accessory valve instrument.Air buffer tank is to reduce the flow pulsation, plays a buffering role: thus reducing the fluctuation of system pressure, so that compressed air can smoothly through the compressed air purification module in order to fully remove oil, water, dust and other impurities, reduce the oxygen and nitrogen separation system load.At the same time, it also provides a large amount of compressed air needed for rapid pressure boost in a short time for oxygen and nitrogen separation system when the adsorption tower is switched, which not only makes the pressure in the adsorption tower rise to the working pressure quickly, but also ensures the reliable and stable operation of the equipment.

3) Oxygen and nitrogen separation system

It is composed of adsorption tower, compression device, auxiliary valve and instrument and electrical appliances.The adsorption tower designed with composite bed structure is divided into A and B towers, and the imported carbon molecular sieve is filled in the tower (the stretching and torsional vibration filling method is adopted to make the loading of carbon molecular sieve more uniform).Clean compressed air flows from the inlet end of Tower A to the outlet end through carbon molecular sieve at this time, O2, CO2 and H2O are adsorbed by it, and product nitrogen flows out from the outlet end of adsorption tower.After A period of time, the adsorption of carbon molecular sieve in Tower A will automatically stop before reaching saturation. Clean compressed air will flow into tower B to absorb oxygen and produce nitrogen, and the molecular sieve of Tower A will be regenerated.Molecular sieve regeneration is achieved by rapidly lowering the adsorption tower to O2, CO2 and H2O desorbed at atmospheric pressure.The two towers were regenerated alternately, that is, oxygen and nitrogen separation was completed and nitrogen was continuously produced.

4) Oxygen and nitrogen buffer system

It is composed of nitrogen buffer tank, precision filter, flowmeter, pressure regulating valve and vent parts.The nitrogen buffer tank is mainly used to balance the nitrogen pressure and purity separated from the nitrogen and oxygen separation system to ensure the stability of continuous nitrogen supply.At the same time, after the work switch of the adsorption tower, it recharges part of its gas into the adsorption tower. On the one hand, it helps the adsorption tower to boost pressure, and on the other hand, it also plays a role of protecting the bed, playing a very important process auxiliary role in the equipment's working process.Finally, it is filtered by precision filter to ensure the quality of nitrogen.

Principle of PSA air separation for nitrogen production

1) PSA

Psa (Pressure Swing Adsorption.PSA (short for PSA) is an advanced new gas separation technology, which has an irreplaceable position in the field gas supply in today's world.

2) The principle of psa

For any kind of adsorption for the same adsorbed gas (adsorbent), in the adsorption equilibrium condition, the lower the temperature, the higher the pressure, the greater the adsorption capacity.On the contrary, the higher the temperature and the lower the pressure, the smaller the adsorption capacity.If the temperature does not change, in the case of pressure adsorption, with reduced pressure (vacuum) or atmospheric desorption method, called psa.It can be seen that psa is adsorbed and desorbed by changing the pressure.

As shown in the figure above, the adsorption capacity of carbon zeolite to oxygen and nitrogen is very different.Carbon molecular sieve is a kind of material with many micropores inside. Nitrogen preparation with carbon molecular sieve is mainly based on the different diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen in carbon molecular sieve. The principle of psa is to achieve the purpose of oxygen and nitrogen separation under a certain pressure by utilizing the difference in the adsorption amount of oxygen and nitrogen in the carbon molecular sieve micropores.When the pressure rises, the carbon molecular sieve absorbs oxygen to produce nitrogen, and when the pressure drops to atmospheric pressure, the carbon molecular sieve desorbs oxygen to regenerate.Psa nitrogen production equipment usually has two adsorption tower, one oxygen to produce nitrogen, the other deoxygenation regeneration, so alternate cycle to produce nitrogen.

Equipment composition and description

1) Compressed air purification module

It is composed of high efficiency oil remover, freeze dryer, precision filter and activated carbon filter.

After passing through the air compressor, the air first enters the air buffer tank for buffering, then enters the high-efficiency oil remover to remove most of the impurities such as oil, water and dust, and then goes through the freezing-type dryer for further removing water, oil and dust through the precision filter, and finally enters the activated carbon filter for further removing oil.

Our specially designed activated carbon filter can be used to prevent the possible trace oil penetration to ensure the effective protection of the carbon molecular sieve and extend its service life.

The compressed air treated by this purification part can be used for instrument air.

2) Air buffer tank

It is composed of air buffer tank and accessory valve instrument.Air buffer tank is to reduce the flow pulsation, plays a buffering role: thus reducing the fluctuation of system pressure, so that compressed air can smoothly through the compressed air purification module in order to fully remove oil, water, dust and other impurities, reduce the oxygen and nitrogen separation system load.At the same time, it also provides a large amount of compressed air needed for rapid pressure boost in a short time for oxygen and nitrogen separation system when the adsorption tower is switched, which not only makes the pressure in the adsorption tower rise to the working pressure quickly, but also ensures the reliable and stable operation of the equipment.

3) Oxygen and nitrogen separation system

It is composed of adsorption tower, compression device, auxiliary valve and instrument and electrical appliances.The adsorption tower designed with composite bed structure is divided into A and B towers, and the imported carbon molecular sieve is filled in the tower (the stretching and torsional vibration filling method is adopted to make the loading of carbon molecular sieve more uniform).Clean compressed air flows from the inlet end of Tower A to the outlet end through carbon molecular sieve at this time, O2, CO2 and H2O are adsorbed by it, and product nitrogen flows out from the outlet end of adsorption tower.After A period of time, the adsorption of carbon molecular sieve in Tower A will automatically stop before reaching saturation. Clean compressed air will flow into tower B to absorb oxygen and produce nitrogen, and the molecular sieve of Tower A will be regenerated.Molecular sieve regeneration is achieved by rapidly lowering the adsorption tower to O2, CO2 and H2O desorbed at atmospheric pressure.The two towers were regenerated alternately, that is, oxygen and nitrogen separation was completed and nitrogen was continuously produced.

4) Oxygen and nitrogen buffer system

It is composed of nitrogen buffer tank, precision filter, flowmeter, pressure regulating valve and vent parts.The nitrogen buffer tank is mainly used to balance the nitrogen pressure and purity separated from the nitrogen and oxygen separation system to ensure the stability of continuous nitrogen supply.At the same time, after the work switch of the adsorption tower, it recharges part of its gas into the adsorption tower. On the one hand, it helps the adsorption tower to boost pressure, and on the other hand, it also plays a role of protecting the bed, playing a very important process auxiliary role in the equipment's working process.Finally, it is filtered by precision filter to ensure the quality of nitrogen.

1) PSA

Psa (Pressure Swing Adsorption.PSA (short for PSA) is an advanced new gas separation technology, which has an irreplaceable position in the field gas supply in today's world.

2) The principle of psa

For any kind of adsorption for the same adsorbed gas (adsorbent), in the adsorption equilibrium condition, the lower the temperature, the higher the pressure, the greater the adsorption capacity.On the contrary, the higher the temperature and the lower the pressure, the smaller the adsorption capacity.If the temperature does not change, in the case of pressure adsorption, with reduced pressure (vacuum) or atmospheric desorption method, called psa.It can be seen that psa is adsorbed and desorbed by changing the pressure.
